FunFinds Friday!

My Mission Impossible

First, happy Friday…yay!  Second, perhaps you may have noticed this cute little badge on the side of my blog…I mentioned this before briefly, but I get so excited when I find fun new things at the store, and I love to share!  So I’ll be sharing them with you here and there. Some may be fashion-y, food-y, fitness-y, kid-y or maybe just something I’ve found to make my (and your) life easier!  If you have a blog and you’d like to do a FunFinds post as well, you can grab the button from my sidebar and use for yourself!  Or find my posts on Instagram, I’ll hashtag them with #funfinds you can too!

Now I sure wish I could shop nonstop and do these posts all the time, but I don’t think my husband, or my wallet, would appreciate that :)

I know a lot of you eat this already, but I had never tasted it.  I must be honest though, it’s not exactly my favorite, but I know a ton of people that LOVE it and it’s worth a shot if you love ice cream but are lactose intolerant (like my husband).  Tastes great at first but we both found it to have a bit of an aftertaste.  Never fear!  My daughter loves it…she’s an ice cream freak! Plus I’ve been using it in her healthy yogurt pops and smoothies for my son.  So I say, give it a chance

Holy cow, these were my favorite find!  I’ve seen these in the drug store for years and always wanted to try them.  I finally bit the bullet for my cousin’s wedding the other week.  And I will NEVER go to another wedding without them!  These are super thin, flimsy ballet flats that you can take with you anywhere.  They come with a little wristlet, but I didn’t use that, just stuffed them in my clutch!  When my feet started hurting in my heels, I just whipped them out and put them on…they didn’t look as glamorous, but they didn’t look awful either!  And when all the other women were limping and hobbling around, I was still dancing pain-free! I highly recommend these!
I know most of you have tried this brand of PB before, I found it a few months ago.  My friend is obsessed with the Dark Chocolate and kept telling me to try it.  *Don’t yell at me* butttt….I’m not really a fan.  On the other hand, I was very excited to find them in single serve packets because I’m trying to cut back and don’t want the whole jar of devil butter peanut butter at home.  Plus, let’s be honest, little things are just fun :)

I will admit, these are not necessarily a “new” find for me, but I haven’t found this variety pack before and I do love them, so I wanted to share.  These are freeze-dried, ya know, like the astronauts do, not normal dried fruit with a TON of sugar added!  Granted, they are not the most filling food, but they come in individual packets and are a great snack to get your kid to shut up quiet down when they are begging for a snack and dinner will be ready in 10 minutes!  Plus, guilt-free, only 5-6 grams of sugar per packet.  And of course they like them because they have cartoons on the box, duh!

Lastly, again these are not new, they’ve been out for a long time, but I’ve never tried them (still haven’t).  But I’m always on the lookout for healthful pre-packaged foods and snacks.  I know, that’s kind of an oxy-moron, but there are a few around!  These are just individually wrapped prunes.  I gave one to my 3 year old at my grandparent’s house last week.  I told him it was a big raisin and tasted like candy and my to my surprise, he loved it!  My daughter tried one too but didn’t like it quite as much.  Still I’ll stash them in my purse and car and pass them out when the whining starts!  Plus I’ll toss one in here lunch here and there and hopefully she’ll eat it!

Happy Friday everyone, I hope you enjoyed my first FunFinds post!  If so, then I’ll keep them up…let me know…and keep an eye out for Heather to share some as well!  Have a great weekend!

Have you tried any of the FunFinds in this post??

Arctic Zero is definitely not like ‘real’ ice cream. I LOVE their chocolate flavor and they key for me is letting it sit out for 5-10 minutes and adding some toppings to it :)

I actually love the taste of Arctic zero but can’t buy it because it is too expensive. i love those fruit crisps though, freeze dried fruit is some of my favorite stuff and that brand is super cheap compared to most. and prunes all the way!
